On the holidays, I watched a movie called ‘Superbad’. This title is a play of words, so it sounds like the popular, cartoon series and movie, ‘Superman’.

Superbad is a hilarious comedy produced by the same director of the movie, ‘Forty year old virgin’, which was a huge comedy success.

The audience targeted are teens and people in their early 20’s.

The movie is about 2 boys, who are still in college and throught the movie they fall into many situations, trying to impress the 2 girls from their college. they want to be ‘hero’s’ by being able to buy the alcohol for a party that is run by a girl from their school, that one of the boys also has a crush on. here you see the link of superman being a hero saving people’s live, and the two boys from college, trying to be the hero’s by providing alcohol for the party.  

This book has made me realise how lucky i am to have not only one pearl earing but two haha, thought id start the day with a joke, no honestly, this book is nice, considering im not the ‘reading type’. i havnt yet completed the book, but i am yet to. in class we have begun to watch the movie as well as reading the book, and i have noticed that there are many differences between the two, which upsets me to be honest because the storyline of the book was so touching to me, and the movie just dissapointed me from how much the director editied the storyline. overall, without ngativity,  from what i have heard, the book has a great ending
